Ingredients

• 1 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1/2 cup half and half
• 4 tablespoons butter
• 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
• pinch of sea salt
• 1 tablespoon vanilla

Here's how to make it: 

1. Put all the ingredients except the vanilla into a saucepot over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring, for about 5 to 6 minutes.
2. Add the vanilla and cook another 1 to 2 minutes or until desired thickness.
3. Serve or pour into a mason jar. Cool then refrigerate until ready to use.
