- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- pinch of sea salt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
Here's how to make it:
- Put all the ingredients except the vanilla into a saucepot over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring, for about 5 to 6 minutes.
- Add the vanilla and cook another 1 to 2 minutes or until desired thickness.
- Serve or pour into a mason jar. Cool then refrigerate until ready to use.
