This Amish broccoli and cauliflower salad recipe is loaded with crunchy vegetables and crisp bacon, coated in a creamy dressing. Nothing wrong with that! 

This easy and delicious broccoli and cauliflower salad recipe pairs well with any protein and is perfect for potlucks. Oh, and it's ready in just 15 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 6 - 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Here's how to make it: 

  1. Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream and sugar in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, cauliflower and red onion. Stir in the mayonnaise mixture.
  3. Fold in the bacon and cheese. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
