You only need five ingredients for these tasty green beans. Here is your short and simple shopping list: fresh green beans, olive oil, garlic, mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese. The beans are put into a baking sheet, seasoned with salt and black pepper, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with garlic. Bake, then top with both cheeses. Delish!

  • 1 pound green beans, ends trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • This delicious vegetable recipe can be doubled or even tripled for larger families. 
  • Feel free to change up the cheeses. Gruyere, gouda, fontina, asiago, provolone, white cheddar or a cheese blend would make these green beans sing.
  • For easier cleanup, cover the bottom of the baking pan with aluminum foil. 

Here's how to make it:

  1. Spread the green beans evenly on the bottom of a 13x9-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with the garlic and drizzle with the olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. 
  2. Bake in a preheated 425-degree F oven for about 20 minutes. 
  3. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese, followed by the mozzarella cheese. Bake another 5 minutes or until cheese has melted.
