4-Ingredient Reindeer Cheese Snacks Recipe Can Be Made Savory or Sweet for Holiday Snacking Holidays Snacks

Most of us get caught up in the desserts of the holiday season, but not everything during Christmastime needs to be sweet. These adorable savory reindeer cheese snacks will make your family grin – and your dentist, too. But if you just need the sweet, we have a version for you, too.

These four-ingredient reindeer snacks make a fun activity to make with the kids during the holiday season. They allow kids to be creative and to "play" with their food. What's more fun than that? Plus, these tasty no-bake snack bites are ready in less than 20 minutes.

For savory reindeer:

Ingredients

  • block of white cheese (about 8 ounces)
  • small grape tomatoes or piece of red bell pepper
  • pretzels
  • black peppercorns, black olives or capers

Here's how to make it:

  1. Cut the cheese into wedges.
  2. Attach half a small grape tomato for the nose.
  3. Attach black peppercorns, a tiny piece of black olive or capers for the eyes.
  4. Push two pretzels into the sides to create the antlers. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with crackers.

For sweet reindeer:

Ingredients

  • block of cream cheese (about 8 ounces)
  • maraschino cherries
  • pretzels
  • raisins

Here's how to make it:

  1. Cut the cream cheese into wedges.
  2. Attach half a maraschino cherry for the nose.
  3. Attach half a raisin for the eyes. 
  4. Push two pretzels into the sides to create the antlers. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
