How to Grill Avocados: A Creative & Healthy Way to Eat an Avocado Grilling Side Dishes Fruit

Can't wrap your head around grilling an avocado? You need to! Grilled avocados can be used for guacamole, avocado toast, sliced in salads or Buddha bowls or just eaten as a snack.

Start by carefully cutting through the avocado fresh and completely around the avocado to cut it in half. Twist the avocado open and remove the pit. Brush olive oil and lime juice over the avocado and season with salt and black pepper. Grill the avocados with the fresh side down over a medium-high heat grill. Grill the avocado for about five minutes or until the avocado is hot and you have grill marks.

If you're not a fan of lime juice, omit it and just brush the avocados with olive oil. If you don't have an outdoor grill, these could easily be made in a grill pan. We think you're going to love grilling avocados from now on.
