Somehow, just onion and water makes a gluten-free flank steak flavorful and tender. (Check out the health benefits of onions.) Put the cut-up onion and water into a blender and blend the heck out of it until it is liquid. Pour the onion over the steak and it it marinate at least one hour. When ready to cook the steak, remove it from the onion marinade and season with salt and pepper. Grill the steak on an outdoor or indoor grill until it reaches your desired doneness. You could also pop the flank steak under the broiler.
Variation: If you're not a flank steak fan, try this two-ingredient marinade on ribeye, sirloin or your favorite cut of beef.
