  • Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • You could throw some sliced fresh apple in the pan while they bake.

Here’s how to make it:

  1. To make the glaze, combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to just a boil, reduce heat and cook, stirring often, about 2 to 3 minutes or until it reduces a bit. Remove from heat and side aside.
  2. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. Heat a oven-proof frying pan or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add a little olive oil. Add the chops and cook about 3 to 4 minutes. Brush the chops with some of the glaze and flip over. Brush the other side with the glaze.
  3. Put the pan into a preheated 400-degree F oven and cook about 6 to 8 minutes, or until pork chops are cooked through, brushing with the glaze occasionally. Remove from oven and drizzle with the remaining glaze. Serve.
