Have leftover chicken? With this easy chicken tacos recipe, you can have a kid- and adult-friendly dinner on the table in minutes. This chicken taco recipe is so easy, it just may change your life (or at least how you think about dinner).
To make these three-ingredient, high-protein chicken ranch tacos you will need cooked, shredded chicken, a packet of dry taco seasoning and ranch salad dressing. The chicken, taco seasoning and ranch are simply warmed together in a skillet. The taco seasoning and ranch dressing combine to make a flavorful coating on the chicken.
Cooking Tip: If you don't have leftover chicken, pan-sear boneless chicken thighs or breasts in a skillet until cooked through. Cool and shred. You could also buy precooked chicken meat.
Serve this easy chicken recipe with your favorite taco toppings. We like shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, chopped tomatoes, pico de gallo, avocado, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, ranch dressing and serrano and avocado sauce. These tacos are also delicious with no toppings at all!

Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 ounce (1 packet) taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup ranch salad dressing
Here's how to make it:
- Add the chicken and dry taco seasoning mix to a skillet (do not add water). Cook for about 5 minutes. (For some spice, stir in a chopped fresh jalapeno. You can use white or dark meat for this recipe. Chop or dice the chicken if you prefer that over shredded. )
- Add the ranch dressing.
- Cook about 3 to 4 minutes more.
- Spoon into shells or onto tortillas and add desired toppings.
