Super Bowl® Deviled Egg Footballs Recipe: Kick Off the Big Game With These Fun Appetizers Appetizers Snacks Side Dishes

These tasty appetizers only have four ingredients, and in no time you can huddle up a whole team of them on a platter as a snack for your guests.

The filling of these deviled eggs is simply mayonnaise, mustard and the yolks. Just plain old-fashioned deviled eggs. The fun part is when you use onion tops or fresh chives to make them look like a football. It's so easy, you could even get the kids to help with this part. These football deviled eggs are a perfect side dish for your football meal, too!

Ingredients
- 1 dozen hard-boiled eggs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
- green onions tops or fresh chives
Here's how you make it:
- Cut the eggs in half and put the yolks in a bowl.
- Mash yolks with a fork and add the mayo, mustard and salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Spoon the filling back into the egg whites, smoothing the tops.
- Cut the chives or green onion tops to create the football threads. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
