Yum!! How do you make an egg wash, Chef Gigi Gaggero? I know it's just water and egg, but is there a ratio to follow?
Chef Gigi
Hey Donna - glad you asked! The general rule of thumb is usually 1 tablespoon of water to one egg Beaten well then painted on the crust. Sometimes, I add a pinch of salt - salt browns -whereas egg wash gives gloss. I also love to sprinkle sugar on the galette before I pop in the oven! 🍴 SO yummy! Enjoy!

Thank you, Chef Gigi Gaggero! I have a bunch of blueberries I need to use. May give your recipe a try this week.
