Cuisine: Asian
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 3
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh salmon filet
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (or low-sodium soy sauce or tamari)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, diced
Here's how to make it:
- In a small mixing bowl or large measuring cup, add the soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, honey, garlic and ginger. Whisk to combine. Give it a taste to see if you'd like to add any more of any of the sauce ingredients to get the flavor balance that's right for you. Set aside.
- Place the salmon in a baking pan that's been lined with parchment paper and spread the sauce over the salmon.
- Bake in an oven that's been preheated to 400 degrees F until salmon is done to your preference, about 15 minutes. Salmon is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F on a food thermometer.
- Drizzle sauce from pan over the salmon and serve. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat in the microwave.
