Mushrooms are marvelous. Really. There's nothing like a side of mushrooms with a juicy steak or finding a tender mushroom in a casserole, sauce or gravy. When I read that mushrooms may reduce your cancer risk, I decided mushrooms needed to be on the menu more often. Check out the other health benefits of mushrooms.
This golden button mushrooms recipe is as simple as it gets. With just five simple ingredients, the mushrooms cook up in a skillet in about seven minutes. Here is your easy shopping list for this mushroom recipe: olive oil, butter, button mushrooms (or whatever kind of mushrooms you like), fresh or dried rosemary and fresh garlic.
If you don't like rosemary, you can use other herbs like thyme, oregano, parsley or cilantro. Serve these mushrooms as a quick and easy side dish with beef, pork, chicken or lamb. The mushrooms are also delicious as a bruschetta topping.
