Flavored mayonnaise is a simple way to add extra flavor to so many dishes. When I was making my Old Bay salmon patties, I knew I wanted something creamy to dip them in. Enter this creamy Old Bay mayonnaise recipe. With four simple ingredients, you can create a seasoned mayo to use on not only salmon patties, but crab cakes, tuna cakes, sandwiches and as a dip for french fries, onion rings, fried clams, clam cakes, hush puppies and even chicken nuggets.
To make the gluten-free mayonnaise you will need to gather the following ingredients: mayonnaise, lemons for juicing, Old Bay seasoning, dried dill and optional black pepper. Simply mix up all the ingredients in a small bowl and it's ready to go.
Variation: For a spicy mayo, use Old Bay hot seasoning. For reduced sodium, use Old Bay Less Sodium seasoning.
This low-sugar and low-sodium Old Bay mayo would be amazing on a seafood po'boy, dolloped on freshly fried or baked crab cakes or tuna cakes, or as a dip for any fried appetizer. The mayo heightened the flavor and richness of my Old Bay salmon patties. I can't wait to find new ways to use this spicy mayo.

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- black pepper, to taste (optional)
Here's how to make it:
- Put all the ingredients into a small mixing bowl. (Not a fan of dill? You could use another dried herb in place of the dill. Try dried basil, dried oregano, dried chives or dried parsley flakes. Or simply leave it out.)
