Whipped Mashed Potatoes Recipe Is Light & Fluffy Comfort Food by 30Seconds Food

This easy mashed potato recipe is whipped with an electric mixer, so it's light and creamy. These fluffy potatoes go so well with all those comfort food dishes.

To make this whipped mashed potato recipe you will need russet potatoes, butter, heavy cream and sour cream. The potatoes are cooked until fork tender and drained. The butter, heavy cream and sour cream are added and whipped into the potatoes. Season with a little salt and black pepper and they're ready to be served.

Serve these whipped mashed potatoes with chicken, pork, beef, lamb or whatever you enjoy for dinner. We like them with fried chicken, meatloaf, salisbury steak, grilled steaks, baked chicken, pork chops... Anything!

Here's how to make it:

1. Cook the potatoes in salted boiling water until tender, about 15 to 20 minutes. Drain and put into a large mixing bowl or into the bowl of a stand mixer.
2. Add the butter and beat until smooth, about 2 minutes.
