Cuisine: American
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
Here's how to make it:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper. When the olive oil is hot, add the steak in a single layer and cook until well seared, about 2 minutes. Flip them over and cook about 2 minutes more. (You may have to do this in batches depending on the size of your pan.) Remove the steak to a plate.
- Add the butter to the skillet and reduce the heat to medium. Add the garlic and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds. For some spice, add crushed red pepper flakes, to taste. For even more flavor, add a shake or two or Worcestershire sauce.
- Add the steak back to the pan and stir to coat with the garlic butter. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
