The rich, lemony sauce can be used on pasta, fish, vegetables, chicken, shrimp and so much more. With minimal prep and cook time, this is one sauce you'll want to add to your recipe box.

All you need to make this white wine sauce is white wine, fresh lemon juice, heavy cream, freshly grated Parmesan cheese and capers. The sauce cooks on the stovetop in about five minutes from start to finish. Use the sauce immediately on fresh cooked pasta, grilled chicken, fish (try it over salmon), shrimp or roasted vegetables (it's amazing over asparagus!). • Don't use expensive wine for this sauce. Do buy something you would drink, but save the pricey stuff to serve with dinner.

1. Bring the white wine and lemon juice to a boil in a saucepot. 
2. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Gently simmer for 4 minutes.
