Why is it so hard to add more fruit to your diet? I've been wanting to eat more fruit and trying to figure out a way to do so. I decided to make a fruit salad recipe and it was a hit!

Here's the simple gluten-free shopping list for this creamy fruit salad recipe: strawberries, grapes, mandarin oranges, bananas, apples, pecans, sour cream and non-dairy whipped topping (aka Cool Whip).
Pro Tip: If you can find fresh mandarins, use them! If not, I'll use a can of mandarin segments and drain them in a colander.

- 7 - 10 strawberries, chopped
- 12 green grapes, chopped
- handful of chopped mandarin oranges
- 1 banana, chopped
- 1 Fuji apple, chopped
- handful of pecans, chopped
- 1 spoon full of sour cream (to taste)
- 3 spoons of non-dairy whipped topping (to taste)
Here's how to make it:
- Add all of the chopped fruits and pecans to a bowl. (You could use almonds, cashews or walnuts instead of pecans.)
- Add the sour cream and Cool Whip. Mix together and enjoy! Store the fruit salad in an airtight container in the fridge.
