Simple Sautéed Asparagus Recipe: This Lemon Garlic Asparagus Recipe Is Topped With Parmesan Cheese by Elisa Schmitz

Asparagus just feels like spring, so in honor of the change of seasons, I came up with this simple sautéed asparagus recipe. If the taste of asparagus isn't enough to get you excited about it, maybe the fact that asparagus is high in fiber and antioxidants, and may even help lower blood pressure, will.
If you're like me and find cooking asparagus a challenge (when I cook it, it often comes out too tough or too mushy), this easy lemon garlic asparagus recipe will be a game-changer. And it's topped with Parmesan cheese, just to make it even more delicious.
I served this easy asparagus side dish on top of rice and roasted chicken, and it added the perfect finishing touch. Happy asparagus season!

Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagus (about 1 pound), washed and cut into 1- to 2-inch pieces
