Addictive 2-Ingredient Chaffle Waffle Recipe: Low-Carb, Crispy & Chewy

A chaffle is a low-carb waffle that's made with egg and cheese. How delicious this chaffle waffle recipe is may surprise you. This easy recipe is the perfect breakfastbrunch or snack if you're on a keto diet or low-carb diet.

The recipe list is super short for this one! Like we said, just two simple ingredients: eggs and mozzarella cheese. The two ingredients are mixed together then cooked in a preheated waffle iron until golden brown. Serve this two-ingredient waffle recipe with butter and syrup (try our brown sugar syrup), whipped cream, honey, maple syrup, fruit or plain.   • Be sure to preheat the waffle iron before cooking the chaffles.
  • Stir in some extras if you're so inclined like fresh chopped chives, green onions, minced red pepper or whatever you'd like.
  • Grind some fresh black pepper into the batter or over the top when serving. It may remind you of cacio e pepe!

Here's how to make it: 

  1. Combine the eggs and cheese in a bowl. Mix well.
  2. Cook one-fourth of the batter in a preheated waffle maker that's been coated with nonstick cooking spray for about 2 to 3 minutes. Remove to a plate and repeat with the remaining batter.
