Cuisine: American
Prep Time: 5 minutes plus 1 hour to marinate
Cook Time: 10 to 15 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour and 20 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients
Chicken
- 4 boneless/skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Balsamic Sauce
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 4 tablespoons ketchup
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
Here's how to make it:
- Season the chicken the paprika, onion powder, salt and pepper. Put it into a plastic zipper bag or airtight container.
- To make the sauce, combine all the ingredients. Pour half of the sauce into the zipper bag, reserving the other half for serving. Squish the bag around to coat the chicken and marinate in the refrigerator for about 1 hour and up to overnight.
- When ready to cook, remove the chicken from the marinade. Cook on a preheated grill until chicken is cooked through. Chicken is cooked through at 165 degrees F internal temperature on a food thermometer. (If you don't have a grill, you can cook the chicken in a grill pan or cast iron skillet.) Serve with remaining sauce. Store the chicken in an airtight container in the fridge.
