Growing up, pea salad did nothing for me. There was one family member who brought it to functions occasionally, but she used canned (yes, canned) peas. Not a fan of mushy pea salad. But made with crunchy frozen peas, this green pea salad recipe is now a favorite.
Adjust the amounts of each item based on how many people you are serving, and use whatever cheese you love or have on hand. You've gotta try it this week!

Ingredients
- frozen peas, thawed
- shredded or cubed cheese
- bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
- red onion, chopped
- mayonnaise or ranch dressing (I used ranch dressing)
Here's how to make it:
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Season with black pepper, to taste.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
