20-Minute Vanilla Cinnamon Rice Pudding Recipe (Arroz Con Leche): Just 5 Ingredients by 30Seconds Food

Have leftover rice, a sweet tooth and are short on time? Turn that leftover white rice into a creamy rice pudding in less than 20 minutes with this easy recipe.

The rice pudding (aka arroz con leche) has simple ingredients: cooked white rice, whole milk, sweetened condensed milk, ground cinnamon and vanilla extract. The white rice, milk, sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon are boiled gently on the stovetop for about 15 minutes. After being removed from the heat, stir in the vanilla extract. That's all. The sweet vanilla cinnamon rice pudding is ready to be served. If you prefer rice pudding cold, refrigerate for a couple hours before serving.

Spoon the rice pudding into serving bowls and top with additional ground cinnamon. Get fancy and add a cinnamon stick! Serve this easy recipe for breakfast, dessert or as a sweet snack.

• 3 cups cooked white rice
• 2 cups whole milk

1. Put the rice, milk, sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon into a pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook, stirring often, until thick, about 15 minutes.
2. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla. Serve warm with a sprinkling of cinnamon.
