When it comes to Thanksgiving, you may be wondering how long you can eat those delicious leftovers. One of the most common food safety questions is, “How long will cooked turkey stay fresh in the refrigerator?” According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA):
- Cooked turkey can be stored in the refrigerator for three to four days. After that, you can store your leftovers for up to four months in the freezer.
- Turkey broth or gravy can be refrigerated for two to three days and frozen for two to three months.
- Stuffing and mashed potatoes can both last up to three to four days in the refrigerator.
