Cocktails for Mother's Day: The Perfect Mimosa Recipe to Celebrate Mom by Donna John
Surprise mom with a mimosa this Mother's Day. Mom deserves a toast, and mimosas are an iconic Sunday brunch and lunch drink. Plus, they're one of the easiest cocktails to make!
Here’s how to make a memorable mimosa that she will never forget. All you'll need is freshly squeezed orange juice and sparkling wine or champagne. To make it easy, follow a 50-50 ratio using half orange juice and half sparkling wine. That is, unless Mom wants a stronger or weaker drink, then adjust to her tastes. You can also add a little Grand Marnier or triple sec for a little more umph! and flavor. Make the glass pretty with an orange segment or fresh strawberry.
If you want to make a pitcher of mimosas, simply following the 50-50 ratio and just use a pitcher instead of individual champagne glasses. Cheers to Mom!
