How to Make a Mimosa Sorbet You Won't Want to Share!

OK, you should share this mimosa sorbet – at least the recipe! 

You'll need:

  • 3/4 cups water
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 2 cups chilled fresh-squeezed orange juice (from about 10 oranges)
  • 1 cup chilled Prosecco
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest

Here's how to make it:

  1. Combine sugar and water in small saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Increase heat and bring to boil. Transfer syrup to medium bowl and chill until cold, about 2 hours.
  2. Add juice, Prosecco and zest to syrup. Whisk to blend well. Transfer mixture to an ice cream maker and process according to manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Scoop the sorbet into a freezer container. Cover tightly and freeze until firm, at least 8 hours or overnight.
