Sugar & Spice Baked Country Pork Ribs Recipe Melts In Your Mouth (7 Ingredients) by Donna John
Country ribs were a staple in my house growing up and after I got married and started cooking for my family. Pork country ribs are a budget-friendly protein that can be baked, grilled, braised or even fried, which I discovered in a small soul food restaurant in Louisiana. Delicious! Baking or grilling is my favorite way to cook country ribs at home, and this easy sugar and spice baked country ribs recipe is my latest culinary creation.

These baked pork ribs are moist, juicy and loaded with flavor from simple spices you probably already have in your spice rack or pantry. Here is your short list of gluten-free ingredients for this delicious pork recipe: country pork ribs (boneless or bone-in), chili powder, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and olive oil.
The country ribs are seasoned with salt, pepper and the spices and drizzled with olive oil before being baked until moist, tender and juicy. The succulent ribs create pan drippings that you can use to baste the ribs as they bake, or drizzle on them when serving. These sticky, sweet and spicy ribs almost melt in your mouth!
Serve the baked ribs as a high-protein dinner with your favorite side dishes. I served mine with macaroni and cheese and skillet cabbage with bacon. This southern dinner put a smile on our faces, plus we got the health benefits of protein. Win-win!
