Global School Play Day is February 7, 2018. I want to tell everyone about Global School Play Day with the hope that I can encourage more schools to get involved. I did this last year with my daycare children and it was an amazing experience. As fellow 30Seconds contributor, Teacher Karen has reminded us that free play is important!

Global School Play Day is a day to just let kids play and watch them play. Watch as your children or students use their imaginations and create their own games. You never know what kind of crazy ideas they will come up with!

No screens. No structure. All day long. Allow your students to spread their toys out around the room or take the kids outside and just PLAY! Don't organize anything for your students. Don't tell them how to play with the toys. Don't interfere with your students unless you see something that could get you fired or would physically hurt a child (this does not include something that may be physically uncomfortable for a child).

Let’s spread the word about Global School Play Day! Sign up for Global School Play Day and learn more at GlobalSchoolPlayDay.com!
