Got a New Dress? 2 Things You Need to Remove From It - STAT! by Cheryl Leahy

If you purchase a new dress, there are two things to cut off right after the price tag!

  1. Snip those loops at the shoulders that are designed to help the dress hang. I've seen women on the red carpet with these loops hanging out; not a good look!
  2. The second thing to snip is the skinny belt loop that holds the belt in place. Cut these off and tie the belt at your natural waist instead. It will help the dress fit better and accentuate the smallest part of your torso.

Now work it, girl!

Thanks for this - so obvious yet I constantly stick those loops into my bra and never use them to hang my dresses!
