Jill Wall's educational background is in the interdisciplinary field of human development and family studies. She teaches courses in parenting, family relations, family stress and family policy and has teaching experience in online and face-to-face formats. Her most recent research is in the area of SoTL (the scholarship of teaching and learning). Those projects have focused on understanding students’ perspectives to improve instruction methods in higher education. Jill has also been involved in research related to work-family issues, parenting, and beliefs about mothering and breadwinning.
