I was born in the South Bronx to a single mother who stressed that the key to success is obtaining a solid education. With that motivation, I went on to St. Lawrence University where I obtained a BA in Communication. I came back to the Bronx and worked in a Community Based Head-Start. I attended Fordham University Graduate School of Social Services where I obtained a MSW degree. I currently reside in the Bronx where I work as a Director of Family and Community Engagement for Early Childhood Education in a local organization.
