Owned by three longtime winegrowing and ranching families in Paso Robles, Ancient Peaks Winery has grilling – and wine pairing – in its DNA. The winery is located within Santa Margarita Ranch, one of the oldest continuously operated cattle ranches in California, dating back to the 18th-century Mission era. On the sprawling 14,000-acre property, Black Angus cattle and horses graze undisturbed at the foot of the Santa Lucia Mountains, keeping invasive weeds at bay and fostering the health of the natural ecosystem.
