My husband and I got to see our Astros play the A's at the Oakland Coliseum in 2022. We talked to so many locals during the game about what was going on with the venue. So sad for baseball fans in Oakland. But we're happy we got to visit before the team moves to Sac then Vegas. This year we visited Oracle in San Francisco, which is a beautiful stadium. Though I preferred the historic feel I got at the Coliseum. Thanks for sharing your story and memories with us Mark Stackpole .

I love how you weaved together your baseball memories and experiences with the inevitable passage of time along the parenting journey, Mark Stackpole . Your reflections always move me: "But more than being the last visit to the Coliseum, it was also the end of this particular era in our lives. His march towards adulthood continues, and I am so proud of him, but I also know that I will miss that kid. I will miss this place. And I will miss the times that we spent here together." As a parent, I can so relate. Bittersweet! Thank you for sharing with us!
