I love this! Great ideas for getting kids (and parents) to eat healthier snacks. I have a drawer in the refrigerator where I keep healthy snacks prepared and ready to go (cut up fruit and veggies, hummus, yogurt, cheese sticks, etc.). Anyone can grab a snack anytime and know it's nutritious. Thank you for these great ideas!

I was lucky and my kids were always healthy eaters. We snacked on hummus, fruits, peanut butter, trail mix (though you've got to watch it because it's very high in fat), cheese, dried fruits, etc. Love the idea of getting your kids to make their own snacks.

Being a role model for your kids is so important. They should what what you eat.

Snacks are a great way to sneak nutrition into your kids. You can “hide” spinach in muffins, cookies, smoothies, etc., for example.
