Kids Fostering Animals: How a Charm Bracelet Adds Joy When It's Time to Say Goodbye Make a Difference Pets Parenting Kids

Our daughters love animals. Their desire would be that every pet has a loving home with a responsible caretaker. To help our daughters grow their passion, we found an amazing local organization called Animal Advocacy and Rescue Coalition (AARC) in Del Rio, Texas. 

To get involved, we held a yard sale fundraiser and we help with doggie foster care when possible. I was a bit apprehensive when it would come time for our foster friends to go to their fur-ever homes. How would the girls handle it? 

As a way to say goodbye, I started ordering these sparkly dog tags. I was able to personalize the back with each pup’s name. The dogs wear them while they are in our care, but when it's time to leave, we keep the tag and started a puppy foster care charm bracelet. Now the girls look forward to adding to their charm bracelets, and it makes saying goodbye a little sweeter.

Knowing the pups are heading to a good home, have all their shots, are microchipped and are neutered is a win-win.
