30Seconds is now a part of Flipboard! If you haven’t been on Flipboard yet, you really need to get on it. Flipboard is a magazine app and website that allows you to flip through personalized magazines and content aggregated from around the web. It's the best of the best! It doesn’t matter if you’re interested in current headlines, mouth-watering recipes, parenting issues, beauty or politics, you’ll get the best content on all the topics you choose.
We encourage you to create a profile so you can interact with 30Seconds, share articles and co-curate your own magazines. Just go to Flipboard.com or download the Flipboard app and search "30Secondscom" to follow us. Here are some helpful points on how Flipboard works and how to get the most out of it:
To customize your feed, simply click on the categories you’re interested in. Flipboard will pull the content you want to read about from a variety of websites. Flipboard then turns this content into an easy-to-read format.
You can make your own magazines. Click the “create new magazine” box on your profile and give it a name and description. You can then invite contributors to follow your magazine. While there’s no limit to how many contributors you can have, only the creator will have admin rights and be able to delete items. To add content to your magazines, simply click the + icon and flip it into the magazines you choose. Flipboard will tag your content so it will appear in the relevant topic feed. You can add your own tags, as well. Your magazines can be public or private. Select “public” or “private” when you create your magazine.
Share interesting articles with others by clicking on the envelope icon near the article. This allows you to share with others on Flipboard, to an email address, on Facebook and on Twitter.
Leave comments about the content by clicking “add comment.” Share your opinions on the article, reviews of the recipe or anything you’d like to say.
Like the content by clicking on the heart icon. This shows your fellow Flipboarders that you appreciate the content you read, as well as sparks other “MagMakers” to look at what you are doing.
Follow your favorite magazines by clicking "follow" underneath the magazine's name.
Every day, Flipboard will suggest articles and magazines that you may enjoy reading. Articles that you are interested in reading can easily be flipped into your own magazines.
Search Flipboard with a phrase or hashtag to find specific content. After you’ve found what you’re looking for, flip it into your magazines.
