Wow. My first reaction to this was, "Wait, WHAT?" After spending decades sharing the benefits of breastfeeding while always noting that not all women can or choose to do it, this story is out of left field for me. Yet, we know how powerful lobbyists are, so it shouldn't be that much of a surprise. I'm just glad it seems like this resolved peacefully and positively. But, WOW! Thanks for sharing, Jessica Acree .

It sounds like you weren't the only one shocked by the move! I bet you could have heard a pin drop in that place... "Wait, WHAT?" is right! Dodged a bullet it seems.

Breastfeeding should always be encouraged, but just like anything related to women’s bodies the CHOICE is a Mother’s to make.

Shame on America, yet again, when the politicians care more about their alliance to formula companies than they do about the welfare of children!

Tracey Hempenstall I couldn't agree more. It is really embarrassing that we use such antics to promote corporations. It would be nice to see us put diplomacy and kindness over profits.
