Men in Early Childhood Education in Botswana: The Plight of Male Teachers Early Childhood Education Opinion

Men in Botswana are in difficult situations when it comes to private-operated preschools or any other early childhood education center. I'm talking this from experience. I am currently doing my BeD (Hons) ECE.

There are also few men or male students studying early childhood. Reasons among others were the perception of men as abusers, child molesters, etc.

The good thing is that government or public schools are different from private institutions and, as such, male teachers can be hired to work without discrimination.
