Kids complaining they're bored? Make an activity jar with them! Cut small squares of cardstock, and on each square, put an activity. Include things like:

• ride bikes
• skipping
• hopscotch
• hula hoops
• soccer
• chalk
• sack races
• kites
• Frisbee 
• arts and crafts

Put all the ideas in a jar. Have the kids come up with as many ideas as they can. Then, when they're looking for something to do, have them choose an activity from the jar and watch their imaginations and smiles take over.
