I am going to let you in on a secret: There is a way to stop your children from fighting with each other, and the technique is truly simple. 

If your kids just simply cannot get along, start the week with a big announcement: "There will be no playdates with friends until you children prove that you can get along with others!" Then set the ground rules and start observing. Maybe they have to spend three days squabble free, or play together nicely for one afternoon. 

Whatever you decide is proof enough that they can cooperate with others. This technique is motivating and, best of all, it works!
