Christmas trees aren’t the only plants that can be dangerous to kids and pets during the holiday season. In fact, there are a number of popular plants and flowers that can pose a threat to your little ones. The following can all cause stomach issues if ingested:

• Jerusalem cherry plants
• mistletoe
• holly berries
• poinsettias 
• amaryllis 

This doesn’t mean you can’t have them out during the holidays. It means you just have to make sure the kids and pets can’t get at them. Put them up high where they're out of reach of curious hands (and paws)!
