It has gotten to the point where I purposely do not express my opinion in public...ever. The very rare chance I do now is with people I tend to agree with in general. Whenever I have a general comment about something contraversial or a distaste for popular opinion, I am attacked as a person. The attempt appears to be to make me feel and/or look stupid somehow. Attacks on character are first. It seems that when an unpopular opinion is posted it will be discouraged so that the more politically correct one endures. There is no more freedom in speech. There is a huge push to get everyone to think alike despite religion, cultural background and personal values. How is that freedom?

I'm 16 and I truly agree, it's getting ridiculous. It's gotten to the point where I just made an account really quick in the middle of my online MIDTERM to agree with how retarded it's getting, and yes, I said retarded, boo hoo. It's gotten me so worked up.
