In everyday life, most people have at least one moment when the stress can be too much. Having a dog is a great idea – not only does a dog calm you down, it just makes you incredibly happy. 

News In Health reported about a study that looked at married couples and found pet owners having lower heart rates and blood pressure, milder responses and quicker recovery from stress when they were with their pets. So if you're feeling down in the dumps, try getting a dog!
