Now is the perfect time to plan your edible garden. Here are some things to keep in mind! 

• Consider your space. A few herbs can be grown in a window box – they bring flavor to both homemade and prepared foods. If you have a big space, plant some vegetables, too.
• Think about sunlight. It’s necessary for most vegetables, particularly tomatoes, to get lots of sunlight each day. 
• How committed are you? Bigger gardens and potted plants require more watering. 

So plant your favorites, make it a family project and let everyone discover how flavorful food is when it’s fresh from the garden!
