7th Annual Streamy Awards: Dick Clark Productions & Tubefilter Announce Winners on Twitter! Make a Difference

It was a huge night on social media as Dick Clark Productions and Tubefilter announced the winners of the last set of Streamy Award recipients, streamed live worldwide on Twitter from the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, Calif. On September 26, 2017, the Streamy Awards was hosted by YouTube star Jon Cozart, which honors the best in online entertainment and the creators behind it. Lead singer of the Village PeopleVictor Willis, returned to the helm of the legendary disco group who sang along to their iconic songs including “Macho Man” and “Y.M.C.A.” The general public also had the opportunity to vote for the “Creator of the Year” and “Show of the Year” categories using specific hashtags on Twitter until the show began at 9:30 p.m. EST.

Americares was the official charity partner, a non-profit disaster relief organization which raised funds for hurricane relief efforts in the southern U.S., Puerto Rico and the Caribbean during the broadcast. The public is encouraged to donate by visiting Americares.org or text HEALTH to 20222 to give $10 to the cause.
