If you find yourself cooped up inside with kids, you'll need to keep them busy (and preferably off electronics!). One of the best things I ever did was buy my son packages of dominoes! He builds towers and tracks, and even spells words. His creative side takes center stage! 

You can buy dominoes inexpensively at toy stores or even the grocery store. The best way to store them is in a rubberized container with a lid. You can even find domino math games online, which is fabulous for learning addition and subtraction.
