How to Make Edible Kids' "Placecards" for Holidays or Play Dates!

It's not easy to get a group of playful children to sit down and eat a holiday meal, or even just lunch! On a recent play date, I had great success by using cupcakes as "placecards" at the table. Each child had fun finding their special cupcake with their name written in icing on it at their place.

Bonus: the promise of a cupcake for dessert had them gobbling up their food – even their fruit – as quick as can be.
