Summer Color Makeup Tips: Fake It, Don’t Bake It, Mama! by Cheryl Leahy

I absolutely adore a summer glow, but understand the consequences that are associated with exposure to UV rays. During the summer months, I lighten my makeup since I don’t need as much coverage.

  • Use a cheek stain to add a rosy flush to my cheeks.
  • Use a tinted moisturizer with SPF 30.
  • I also use self tanner on the rest of my body to get that sun-kissed bronze glow.

There are a lot of products out there that can help you achieve the tan without the risk of skin cancer! Have fun experimenting with your look this season!

Okay silly question Cheryl Leahy but are the tanning towelettes hard to put on evenly? How many times a week would you suggest using them? I never sit in the sun but I loathe looking pasty white so these could be a good option.
