Like Fancy Coffee Shop Coffee But Not the Price? This Hack Can Save You $2 a Cup! by Leslie W

I love fancy coffee, but can't stomach the fancy price (or calories). Here’s a money-saving hack for the next time you buy a coffee (this budget discovery changed my life)!

Try this if you want the drink made to order (drive through or inside):

  • Ask for a tall Americano (hot or iced) in a grande cup with 4 ounces of steamed (or cold) half and half. Be sure to specify 4 ounces or you get charged for the cream if steamed.
  • Add a syrup of your choice. I like cinnamon or white chocolate mocha, but anything is good.

Try this if you are ordering inside the coffee shop, don't want to add flavored syrup, are in a rush or want to add the amount of sugar and cream toyour own specifications:

  • Ask for a medium Americano in a large cup.
  • Go to the cream and sugar station and add it yourself!

Just as good as an all-milk latte, but less sweet, fewer calories and almost half the price! Order half-caff to cut down on the caffeine. This will save you so much money over time. Who knew?!
