Keep Sight of Your Goals in Life: My Motivation to Work Hard & Stop Renting by Egan Patricia

I just came to the realization that living in a complex surrounded by other people, there are bound to be "rules" you don't want to follow – like leaving your children's bikes or a stroller next to your steps neatly out front. Now, I will admit I was rather upset by the notice I got to bring the bikes indoors. I felt like I was being singled out.
After venting (mostly to myself), I took a deep breath and told myself that I do not own where I live, so I must accept the rules as they are there for a reason, even if I do not agree with what that reason is. But this notice has motivated me to work harder so down the road we can buy our own property.
I just need to remind myself of this once in a while, so I do not lose sight on what my goals are. There are reasons for everything; you just need to take the time to step back, take a deep breath and remember.
